Axel Bouchaux, bass

After getting his 1st prize with first class honours at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, following the classes of Frédéric Stochl, Axel Bouchaux followed with a postgrade at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London under the direction of Thomas Martin et took lessons with Evgueni Kolossov and Rinat Ibraguimov.
He kept playing in many musical worlds, from the baroque period to the contemporary music. He started playing with some ensemble as Concerto Köln and Les Musiciens du Louvre and has been a member of the London Symphony Orchestra during 16 years.
First bass in the Orchestre des Champs-Elysées, he usually participate in projects with the Intercontemporain, de Ensemble Modern de Frankfurt and with the Concert d’Astrée.
