Auditions
Auditions are required for
candidates to the Advanced Studies Program. The next auditions will take place in September 2009.
In autumn 2009, recruitment for the following instruments:
FLUTE, CLARINET, BASSOON, HORN AND ALL STRING INSTRUMENTS (VIOLIN, VIOLA, CELLO AND DOUBLE BASS).
AUDITIONS CALENDAR
FRIDAY 25 SEPTEMBER - LONDON
SATURDAY 26 SEPTEMBER - AMSTERDAM
MONDAY 28 SEPTEMBER - PARIS
FRIDAY 2 OCTOBER - BARCELONA
MONDAY 5 OCTOBER - TROSSINGEN
Applicants to other courses can send a recording
on CD or minidisk.
All candidates must present:
• a
movement from a concerto or equivalent piece from the classical period,
and
• orchestral excerpts sent on reception of the application form.
Recordings should be sent three months before the course. Recordings sent
after this date may be considered either to complete groups or to create a
short list in case of cancellations.
To receive the orchestral excerpts to be used for the audition
recording, please contact us by e-mail or phone.
Each year, auditions take place in September or October, then punctually in step with the candidatures and the instructors' disponibility.
