JOA directory

Since 1996, the Abbaye aux dames in Saintes has been offering young musicians from major French and European schools of music, recruited by audition, the opportunity to interpret the classical and romantic repertory on period instruments. Within a training programme unique in Europe, students explore group performance in all its forms (symphonic orchestra, chamber orchestra, chamber music…) and benefit from a strong theoretical contribution through conferences on music publication, analysis and organology and a personalized tutorial system for their research work.

This directory offers a contact list of the young musicians who have participated in our courses since 1996.

It main objective is to inform orchestras playing on modern and period instruments of the existence of this directory and the possibility to consult it on our website. In this way, we hope to contribute positively to the launch of your career

For readability’s sake, the Abbaye aux Dames has included the names and email addresses of musicians that have participated in at least 2 courses.
