Alix began singing with La Maîtrise des Hauts-de-Seine. She then worked with the bass Malcolm King and joined the Young Artists Studio at l’Opéra de Lyon.

Alix made her debut at the Theater an der Wien in the role of Emilia in Rossini’s Otello. Alix also sang the title role of Cendrillon with the Glyndebourne Touring Opera and the role of ‘kitchen girl’ in Rusalka in the Glyndebourne Festival 2019. Furthermore, she returned to the Opéra National de Lyon and to the Ruhrtriennale to sing a specially devised version of Dido and Aeneas, entited ‘Remembered.’  Last season, this same production was revived to great acclaim in the live recording at the Vlaasme Opera.

In France Alix has sung the title role in L’Enfant et les Sortilèges at the Opéra National de Lyon, Hélène (La Belle Hélène) and Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Ein junger Hirt (Tannhäuser), Linette (The Love for Three Oranges), Katchen (Werther) at the Opéra National de Paris, the Discorde and the Second Coryphée in Jean-Chrétien Bach’s Amadis de Gaule at the Opéra Royal de Versailles; Armelinde in Pauline Viardot’s Cendrillon and Flamel in Fantasio at the Opéra-Comique, as well as Pinocchio at the Opéra de Bordeaux.

In concert, she performed Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor at the Opéra de Lyon, Rossini’s Tancredi at the Festival de Beaune and sang Berlioz’s Les nuits d’été with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.
