The Musicaventure project and in particular the Musical Carrousel at the Abbaye aux Dames, received support from the operational programme of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the “Aid for tourism, businesses and innovation” measure.

The objectives of the funded operation are to:

• Develop the appeal and dynamics of Saintes and the Abbaye aux Dames, la cité musicale.
• Offer the public an experience where everyone is an actor, not just a spectator, through a sensory approach in which the process of sharing (the pleasure of learning, discovery and perception)is fundamental
• Offer beginners a group event which, thanks to the technology, allows an immediate and harmonious musical production experience

The Musical Carrousel was inaugurated in April 2018.
