Virtual Festival

The experience

Settle yourself down, put on the virtual reality glasses and slip into the skin of Lionel Meunier.
Instantly under the canvas, amidst the rehearsal and concert, you are truly immersed in the Festival de Saintes!

The technology

The Virtual Festival enriches the musical array of the Musicaventure project.
The concert was captured in the abbey church on Thursday 20 July 2017. Its programme featured Georg Friedrich Handel’s “Ode for St Cecilia’s Day” and “Dixit Dominus”.
The technology uses virtual reality. It was developed by the companies AREA-I3 in Rennes and Modulo Digital in Paris.
