European Social Fund

Young musicians often struggle to find lasting employment. The JOA’s professional training initiatives are thus supported by the European Social Fund (ESF) as part of the “Employment and Inclusion 2014-2020” national operational programme.

By enrolling in a professional training programme with trainers who are highly qualified as artists and as teachers, young working musicians in precarious situations who benefit least from the training can enjoy:

  • new instrumental skills in musical interpretation with a basis in history,
  • professional training courses adapted to specialised professional orchestras (Orchestre des Champs-Elysées, Les Musiciens du Louvre, etc.),
  • adding to their skills by designing a musical outreach training programme.

Gaining new skills will enable young musicians to improve their versatility, enhance their profile, anticipate changes in the music sector and achieve greater professional stability, as well as lasting employment.
